The “Why”

As our society becomes increasingly diverse , we are constantly reminded of the divide we face as citizens; the most evident of these being access to higher education. The It’s Blasé annual scholarship was created to close the gap on this stringent inequality and fuel the next generation of leaders , activist , scientist and engineers who will build, analyze and uplift the next generation.

These potential leaders, drawn from groups that have traditionally and historically been denied access to higher education, must receive the support needed to negotiate the pathway to completing a college education.
