The “Why”

The NEW It’s Blasé annual scholarship award was created to bridge the gap of access to higher education for disadvantaged students pursuing a career in (S.T.E.M) - (Science Technology, Engineering, Mathematics )

These potential leaders, drawn from groups that have traditionally and historically been denied access to higher education, must receive the support needed to negotiate the pathway to completing a college education.

As influencers, entrepreneurs and visionaries we hold a moral responsibility to sow seeds of hope back into our communities and aid in the advancement of our youth. Always reminding them that their goals and dreams are attainable no matter how bold they may be.

Each journey begins with a single step.


The “WHO”

The scholarship winner will exemplify what it means to be a leader in his/her community, to academically excel and to posses the pillars of H.E.A.R.T (Hustle, Excellence, Accountability, Resilience & Tenacity)

The core fabric of It’s Blasé was built on the pillars and principals of H.E.A.R.T and we as a collective embody every aspect and will proudly uplift the individual we see meets this criteria.

To receive the It’s Blasé Scholarship, a beneficiary must be:

  • A College Sophomore or Junior

  • Posses Economic / Financial Need

  • A minimum cumulative weighted GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale

  • The student must be enrolled full-time, in a four-year degree program, at the US accredited, not-for-profit, private or Public College or University.

The “HOW”

Beginning Fall Semester/Term August 2019 applicants must submit an essay (not to exceed 250 words) and a creative 1 minute video clip explaining why they deserve the It’s Blasé annual scholarship award.

All submissions must be sent to info@itsblase.com & include:

  • Spring Semester Transcripts (Verification of GPA and Enrollment)

  • Essay Submission

  • 1 Minute Video Clip
